Convergences, Divergences, & Further Explorations
The previous three "categories" of beliefs, power, and money, if you have not noticed, are all deeply intertwined. We believe that money is a real thing and under our control, but if it is accessible in a box in your home or in a bank, police can confiscate it or governments can freeze your bank accounts or take your money. Money can be used as an instrument of power and control. Some people use beliefs to exert power and control over others, as well as a way to accumulate money from the "believers."
Our societies are deeply enmeshed in these and many more issues. We're swimming in these issues everyday, even though we may not realized we're neck deep in water.
